Through a wide range of products characterized by excellent printability and a high standard of whiteness, the papers undergo a rigorous manufacturing and quality control process. We have an extremely committed team, as well as highly trained technical assistance ready to support our customers’ needs.
The annual cultivation area is approximately 7,500 hectares, where we grow soybeans, corn, beans, wheat, barley, onions, potatoes, pre-drying, and silage, with an annual production of around 45,000 tons.
Spread over 14 municipalities in the region, the commercial forests cover an area of 12,000 hectares, distributed over several farms within a radius of 150 km from the industrial plant, ensuring our self-sufficiency. We follow strict quality and sustainability standards, which has resulted in FSC® certification for Forest Management since 2009.
Energy self-sufficiency has been a reality at Santa Maria provided through three hydroelectric plants: Salto São Pedro Small Hydroelectric Power Plant, Salto Curucaca Hydroelectric Power Plant and Três Capões Novo Small Hydroelectric Power Plant. Together, they have a generation potential of up to 48 MW. This is equivalent to the amount needed to supply a city with approximately 200,000 inhabitants.
